My Story
Elijah Baba is a multifaceted spiritual leader, evangelist, and prophet with a profound calling to empower believers and propagate the kingdom of God. In 2013, he founded Sinqobile Kingdom Empowerment Centre, a spiritual hub dedicated to cultivating prophetic prayer warriors and fostering kingdom-minded believers. Guided by a divine mandate, Elijah established the Africa 24/7 Tabernacle of David Prayer Strategy, aiming to usher in a great revival and harvest of souls and wealth into the kingdom.

As a bishop, Elijah Baba is not only a spiritual figure but also a versatile talent—a psalmist, singer, songwriter, musician, producer, inspirational speaker, life coach, counselor, author, husband, and father. Ordained in 1989 at the age of 10, he has been actively involved in ministry since his youth, preaching his first sermon and writing his debut book, 'Back to Innocence,' at the ages of 10 and 13, respectively. With over 30 books to his name, including "Rediscovering the Church," Elijah's literary contributions extend to spiritual enlightenment and guidance.

Elijah's journey in evangelism commenced at 15 under the guidance of his late father and mentor, Rev. Humphrey Baba. Over the years, he has been a worship leader, youth pastor, and director of evangelism in various churches. His commitment to spreading the Gospel has seen him engaged with organizations like Book of Hope and Good News Project. In 2008, he relocated to Middelburg, Mpumalanga Province, where, in 2013, he established Sinqobile Kingdom Empowerment Centre NPC.

Beyond spiritual endeavors, Elijah is actively involved in social initiatives addressing critical youth issues. His organization, Sinqobile Kingdom Empowerment, has developed projects tackling domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, youth orientation, sex worker rehabilitation, and gender-based violence (GBV). One notable initiative is the StopGBVApp, a mobile application designed to combat GBV and femicide in South Africa. Funded by Gender Links and supported by Women, Voice, and Leadership (WVL), the app provides a platform for young women and girls to connect, access information, and seek assistance through various groups and helpline options.
Elijah Baba's life and work epitomize a holistic approach to spirituality, community engagement, and social impact, making him a beacon of inspiration and empowerment in South Africa and beyond.
