Reach! Africa Network is a faith based, Christian lifestyle TV Channel with proselytisation based on actual events that affect Africans, specifically the people of South Africa. The channel presents an agenda to transform and impact lives through the kingdom of God. Our viewers will be looking for practical solutions and guidance on matters and issues they are going through in their daily lives. Reach! Africa Network program schedule will be based on content developed around the eight gates of society, which are the eight pillars of influence in a city, a nation and a country.

The channel will not only focus of preaching and teaching, but also on transformation of our viewers at the core of what affects all people, societal impact. The gates of Society are: the (1) family, (2) belief system, church/religion, (3) government, governance and leadership (4) economy and business, (5) education, (6) science and technology, (7) media and entertainment, and (8) the arts, sports and culture. The gates of society affect all peoples, everywhere, WHOEVER sits at the GATES, controls that territory! A gate is also a place where judicial decisions are made (Parliament). Reach! Africa Network content is based around the gates of society to impact influence and transform societies in the African continent.

South Africa is the wellspring of Southern Africa and Southern Africa is the Joseph of Africa, and Africa is the Joshua of the whole world. It is not by chance that Africans form across the continent go to South Africa for opportunities of a better life. We must therefore pray against the xenophobic agenda against South Africa.

The continent of Africa has not only been plagued by poverty, disease, subjugation, and various social ills, it has been a territory where the powers of darkness have been enjoying free reign for many centuries. We believe that God has delivered Africa from her suffering and a great revival is about to break out of Africa and spread out to the whole world. The undertaking and directive of Reach! Africa Network is to prepare Africa for this great end time movement of God.

AIM AND OBJECTIVE

The main aim of Reach! Africa Network is to challenge and change stereotypes and remove stigmas attached to the church, religion, spirituality and faith because of what many people deem “false prophets, fake pastors and unauthentic churches in recent times. Reach! Africa Network will endeavor to contrast these challenges by creating a platform for “real African preaches, leaders and churches” to reach Africans with the undiluted word of God and present real transformational messages to the masses.

Our objective is to encourage, inspire and educate young and old to be the best they can be in whatever they do and to empower them to deal with matters of basic human rights, legal issues, social cohesion, spirituality and religion, entertainment and education using a visual media platform that will be balanced and appropriate. Reach! Africa Network will communicate faith and spirituality stories that are honest and reflective of the realities of diverse groups of Africa’s inhabitants. Reach! Africa Network has an objective to serve South Africa and the whole African continent.

The channel purposes to showcase local talent and address socio-economic development through informative and educational programming produced by the Christian, and for the whole community. Reach! Africa Network is the all-inclusive expression of the many voices of the Christian community. As a Christian Lifestyle Channel, Reach! Africa Network inspires creativity, uplifts society and becomes the voice of reason and hope in Africa.

MISSION AND MANDATE

Our mandate is to reach Africa with the gospel of the Kingdom of God. The channel presents an agenda to transform and impact the lives of Africans through pragmatic, real and tangible faith based solutions and not assurances of miracles and divine interventions alone. Our viewers will be looking for practical solutions and guidance on matters and issues they are going through in their daily lives such as; unemployment, poverty, health issues, social ills, including, domestic and gender based violence, substance abuse, etc. Reach! Africa Network programming will be based on content developed around the eight gates of society, which are the eight pillars of influence in a city, a nation and a country.

The channel will not only focus of preaching and teaching, but also on transformation of viewers at the core of what affects all people, societal impact. The gates of Society are: the (1) family, (2) belief system, church/religion, (3) government, governance and leadership (4) economy and business, (5) education, (6) science and technology, (7) media and entertainment, and (8) the arts, sports and culture. These are organised into 8 gates of society to align with the eight gates of time. Gates are the “traffic control” stations of those coming in and out. Gates are the gathering places of people. Business is conducted at the gates. Important news is proclaimed at the gates. The gates of society affect all peoples, everywhere, whoever sits at the gates, controls that territory!

REACH! AFRICA NETWORK CHANNEL PROGRAMMING

Reach! Africa Network’s objective is to produce a coherent, highly vocal, brilliantly designed TV channel; set on a back drop of African faith, spirituality and the Christian religion. The channel is created to profile, showcase and present the people of God (Christians) as exciting, interesting, talented and part of the mainstream.
The channel will have reality based programming that will endeavour to address the aspirations of all the people of Africa, with a special focus on empowering the historically disadvantaged individuals and voiceless people in our communities. Reach! Africa Network is positioned as a transformational, inspirational and motivational tool in making dreams come true, providing solutions, answering questions, advocating for justice and representing the kingdom of God, this is the main objective of the channel.

The channel will create faith based content that engage celebrities, politicians, business people, professionals, and ordinary people, in order to voice their perspective concerning various issues. In ensuring universal access to the Reach! Africa Network programming and news, a sign language interpreter will be used. The primary focus of the Reach! Africa Network Channel programming is divided into 5 categories, which are as follows:

1. SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING

Reach! Africa Network will have internal content development and production unit f. Reach! Africa Network will focus on developing proudly African, spiritual and religious content across all the themes of the TV channel. Faith-based content will include: talk shows, documentaries, movies, children shows, youth programming, music, talent shows, and live events. African preachers and churches will be invited to procure slots in order to be included in the channel line-up and Electronic Program Guide (EPG). Preachers who have their own equipment and production team will submit pre-recorded programs and delivered to the channel on a mastered and broadcast format. All preachers who do not have their own production equipment will be able to record their program at the Reach! Africa Network Studios and will receive technical support and advice for their program. The channel will also assist preachers with fundraising for the production.

2. SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAMMING

This programming focus will give Senior Citizens a platform through programming aimed at showcasing their issues, entertainment, empowerment, health and safety and giving them a voice to speak out to the community at large regarding issues of morality, family, social cohesion and passing on their wisdom to the next generation

3. YOUTH AND CHILDREN PROGRAMMING
This programming will source and or produce faith based content that speaks to a general youthful African audience, this will be Inclusive of all youth regardless of race, language, geography and creed. The content will impact on values, lifestyle, positive choices and evolving culture. The focus will be upliftment, empowerment, encouragement and affirmation of youth to face life with confidence. To be a motivational tool and platform for young people, children and youth to saying all things are possible.

4. FAMILY PROGRAMMING
This programming will produce content that speaks to all African families in their diversity. With the family in mind, the content will interrogate societal values, espousing the African philosophy of Ubuntu. Produce spiritual content that encourages responsible, accountable and ethical citizens. Inspiring and enabling content that contributes to the improvement of people’s conditions. Introduce Transformational Content that fosters patriotism, national pride bringing the nation together. Propagate family content that assists in the creation of a national identity and the attainment of the African dream and embraces all cultures, languages and social groupings in Africa.

5. CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE AND ENTERTAINMENT

This programming will focus on showcasing, prompting and profiling Christian Lifestyle content rooted in African spirituality and social trends (currency). Develop Inspirational content that reflects aspirations of believers and unbelievers alike. Create high impact, mainstream clean entertainment content that drives mass audiences to engage with the channel across all belief systems. The channel to also embrace a sense of global citizenship through well informed presentations, journeyed with a hunger for success.
